These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Petlify website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable policies referenced herein.
These Terms are drafted in compliance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Information Technology Act, 2000, Information Technology Rules, 2011, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to use the Platform
- You represent that you are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
3. Nature of Platform & Services
Petlify is a technology-based intermediary platform that enables connections between pet owners and independent pet care service providers, including grooming, training, boarding, veterinary consultations, and related services.
- Petlify acts only as a facilitator/intermediary
- Petlify does not provide veterinary or pet care services directly, unless expressly stated
- Petlify does not guarantee the quality, outcome, or suitability of third-party services
4. User Accounts & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
- All activities under your account are your responsibility
- Notify Petlify immediately of any unauthorized account usage
5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
- Violation of laws or third-party rights
- Uploading false, misleading, or harmful content
- Fraudulent or unlawful use of the Platform
- Unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interference with platform security or operations
6. Payments & Pricing
- Payments are processed via RBI-compliant payment gateways
- Petlify does not store card or banking details
- Service prices and availability are determined by Service Providers
- Applicable taxes shall be borne by the user
7. Cancellations, Refunds & Wallet Credits
All cancellations, refunds, and wallet credits are governed by Petlify’s Refund & Cancellation Policy. Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or wallet, as applicable.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Platform, including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the exclusive property of Petlify or its licensors and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws.
9. Third-Party Services & Links
Petlify does not control or endorse third-party services and shall not be responsible for their content, conduct, or policies. Users interact with third parties at their own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petlify shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including service outcomes, pet health, or provider conduct.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Petlify from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Suspension & Termination
Petlify may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraudulent activity, or legal requirements. Termination does not affect accrued rights or liabilities.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Modifications to Terms
Petlify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
